Yes, by eating sensibly and getting your heart rate up and into your fat burning zone you can burn calories and lose weight. The easiest way to know if you’re working hard enough is to use a Heart Rate Control Program, which on the BreakFree treadmill, your HRC program will automatically adjust your speed higher or lower to keep you in your target heart rate.
For walking and jogging, an entry level treadmill is usually sufficient but no matter which model, make sure it includes power incline to keep challenging you as you get fitter.
